Taize Services
This is a contemplative service based upon the style of worship at the monastic
community of Taize in France. The church is lit by candles and the Christ Icon is used as a
focus. Scripture readings appropriate for the Church season are read by participants. Taize
music (chants) are played and participants are encouraged to join in the chant and the prayers.
